Green Materials
Santoprene rubber is a high performance elastomer in the thermoplastic rubber family. Santoprene is recyclable, making it more environmentally friendly compared to EPDM. The composition of Santoprene rubber is highly cross linked rubber particles mixed throughout a continuous matrix of thermoplastic material. Santoprene rubber has an incredible fluid resistance when compared to other synthetic rubber materials such as neoprene or SBR.
Central Plastics now extrudes flexible vinyl with a bio based plasticizer.
